Welcome
The Retailers Business Continuity Association (RBCA) has been established to assist all in-house Business Continuity and Resilience personnel in the retail industry to share views, experiences, and information to the benefit of the sector.

 

Membership
The RBCA is open to all retailers irrespective of size and a non profit making association, owned entirely by its members and chaired by John T Frost, Head of Business Continuity for Marks and Spencer. It currently has 38 members, consisting of some of the UK largest and iconic retailers John Lewis, Waitrose, Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury , Harrods and Selfridges to name but a few.

Membership is open to all retailers and costs £100 per organisation per annum and allows two named representatives to attend any one meeting. The benefits of joining are:

  • Access to all full RBCA meetings - four per year.
  • Access to the minutes from any RBCA meetings you are unable to attend.
  • Access to Members only part of The RBCA website and be able to access white papers, benchmarking, and other material produced by the RBCA specifically for the benefit of its members.
  • Opportunity to participate in The RBCA working groups.
  • Full contact details of all fellow RBCA members and their representatives.
  • A unique opportunity to share experience and knowledge

Each of the RBCA quarterly meeting is structured around a main theme of discussion for the day, one common to retail business continuity and as highlighted as an area worthy of further analysis by the RBCA business continuity benchmarking exercise. In addition, time is provided to ensure that topical issues affecting business continuity within retail can be debated.
